Things Like This Will Surely Raise Congress’s Approval Ratings
February 1st, 2008 | by Craig |Dear Senator Spectoer:
Really, what the NFL did with the Cheatgate tape is their own farking business.
This is not — repeat NOT — a congressional issue.
Now, STFU and GBTW.

The Voting Public

Grandstanding garnered John Kerry a little bit of positive press when he did something similar before the Patriots final regular season game. Did it make any difference in the League’s final decision? Probably not, but it did help Kerry seem more like a “regular guy.”
Maybe Specter is hoping for a little “regular guy” cred hizownself.

That’s “Specter” to you, buddy. Since he just got reelected to a six year term, I’d say he’s not grandstanding. And since football doesn’t have an antitrust exemption (does it?), and since what happened is not a crime outside that league, I’d say “Specter” is meddling. Disgruntled Eagle fan?

Spector, Specter, S.P.E.C.T.R.E, it all sounds like “Asshole” to me.
