Podcast Update
January 23rd, 2008 | by Craig |For all three of you who listen to the podcast, I’m shelving it indefinitely.
Lots of irons, lots of fires right now.
Plus, Stallone made another Rambo movie, and I’m just not sure I can face life right now. Wasn’t Rocky VI enough?
What’s next? Lethal Weapon V: Crazy-ass Riggs breaks Murtaugh out of the nursing home, and they both go crazy on Viagra?
Ugh.

There’s a mental image I didn’t need.

It was between that and Metamucil.

Sorry to hear no podcast. I know I didn’t always make it, but I tried.
I would like to know who ever told Stallone he could act?

Damn writers strike! I’ll miss the almost-weekly update from Casa Sprout.
I would like to know who ever told Stallone he could act?
Perhaps the same folks who told Huckabee he was a viable national candidate? Sorry, couldn’t resist.

I’m sorry to hear the ‘indefinitely’ part, but I completely understand. However, you should know by now that fire can’t melt iron. Try negotiating with those irons instead; I’m sure they’ll bend.

It’s not due to lack of listenership. You guys who are listeners are extremely supportive, and I appreciate it. More than you probably know.
Right now, though, there’s just not enough hours in the day, and not enough days in the week.

Not enough time? Sheesh, maybe we can get the government to increase the number of hours in a day and the number of days in the week. Maybe if we make day light savings time permanent you could pick up an extra 7 hours a week like we get in the summer.
Silliness aside, I’ll miss it too - the podcast that is, not the extra 7 hours.

Good point, because you can accomplish just about anything via government fiat.
Seriously, though, the next week or two should tell the story.
My hope is to get going again.

Do you mean I actually have to start doing my algebra homework on Wednesday nights now? Blech…

You sure know how to make a guy feel guilty, Courtney.

Not enough time, eh? Obviously, you are not a lawyer (which is a good thing, BTW). A barrister from Vancouver, BC is in some hot water with the local Law Society (which is what Canucks call a Bar Association), for over-billing clients. (A lawyer charging too much for services rendered? I’m shocked, SHOCKED, I say!) Seems that one of her bills charged the client for 30-hours’ work in one day.
