This Aggression Will Not Stand
December 12th, 2007 | by Craig |Having successfully figured out the last show name references, Dan Traeger won not only a link and a mention here, but also a mention in tonight’s podcast, where the answer will be finally be revealed, and all three of you can breath much easier.
Also on the agenda, we’ll be partnering our synergies for a win-win paradigm that is process-driven and customer-focused and leaves everything on the field.
Or something like that.

Ah crap. I had no idea it was a contest, ’cause I was singing that particular ditty to myself before I was done reading it. Shoot.

You’re that guy that used to blog, right? You know, put up stuff so I could annoy you? What happened to that guy? I miss him?

Nah, you’re thinking of Budge.
Check with Natale for the details on the conspiracy. He’s got it dialed in.

Rob–
The “contest” has been going on for about 6 months: Find the common theme of the podcast titles.
Answer: All of the titles come from songs that either have the word “radio” in the lyrics or in the title. The last one was a stretch, since it was in the album name. (”The Great Radio Controversy”).

Drat! (Toning down my language for Craig) I had planned to call in and get you all distracted chit-chatting about music (thereby heading off anything more than a passing reference to football :), and I get stuck at work. After the week I’ve had… par for the course.
I did have a few quick notes and comments on your musical title picks though.
Courtney gives you mega props for using “Radio GaGa” by Queen.
I only had to Google the Aaron Tippin song. Kudos for stumping me at music trivia. (It does happen, but not often.)
There’s also another “radio” tie-in with “Modern Day Cowboy” the band is after all named for Nicola Tesla who is widely regarded as the “true” father of modern wireless radio. This is of course in direct opposition to Schoolhouse Rock who always favored noted fascist and patent infringement guru, Guglielmo Marconi.
and just for fun, I thought of a few others: consider it a sort of MTPPodcast Apocrypha.
“Windshield wipers slappin’ out a tempo.”
“Orbiting your living room, cashing in the Bill of Rights.”
“Moonlight spills on comic books and superstars in magazines.”
“Think about the good times and never look back”
“Just an all-American boy. I found my favorite toy.”
