I just got done listening to your show with GeeGuy.. He and I need to compare notes.
I really feel his pain as far as getting info out of the City Government. At this point, I am going to start using written requests and when they say no, I am going to have them sign a form stating the reasons for thier refusal.
As far as email, there is no way to know whether City Hall is actually storing any of the emails without doing a supena to the ISP for thier backup files. We have already proven that they destroy emails that incriminate themselves. I have been told that they can be charged with destruction of public documents but how are you going to PROVE that they have destroyed anything?
Keep fighting the good fight, GeeGuy. You are in a better position to actually effect change. I may have more time to devote to it, but you have the training to make a difference.
