This Gives Me the Shivers

Gov. Brian Schweitzer said he thinks his budget proposals, which include double-digit spending increases, are sustainable for future years, contrary to warnings in a new legislative analysis.

The really funny thing to me is that this is basically a mirror of President Bush’s fiscal policy: tax cuts coupled with increased spending.

It should be fun watching the contortions to justify this one.

    I’m not really an expert on the Governor’s budget proposal, but it relies far more heavily on one-time expenditures than the GOP plan.

    Just sayin’.
