You Guys Crack Me Up
December 20th, 2006 | by Craig |I know I’ve said this before, but it never ceases to amuse me that a 500 word post gets bupkus for comments, but a 30-word toss off goes well into the 20’s.
Kind of a perverse incentive, no?

“In brevity lies the spice” - if I recall from my German class, oh so many years ago… In der kurze liegt die Wuerze.

I have thought on this many times and have come to three possibilities:
1. In a long post you cover all the bases so no one has anything to add.
2. In a long post you are likely to show that you knw what you are talking about or people tire of reading it and don’t have energy left to fight.
3. In a super short post you don’t fully state your case leave yourself open to interpretation and people fight that misperception.
