Montana Hosts I-AA Playoff Games

November 19th, 2006 | by Craig |

In a rather stunning surprise, Montana State has been tapped to host a playoff game against the Purple Paladins of Furman. The 7-4 ‘Cats not only made the playoffs, but get their first game at home.

No surprise: the Griz host the Cowboys of McNeese State.

The I-AA (which has a different name now, but I couldn’t care less) bracket can be found here.

Further, the Carroll College Saints will most likely be hosting the 2nd round playoff game in the NAIA playoffs.

All in all, it’s been a good weekend for football in Montana.

    Interesting bracket.

Who do you think will win when MSU & UM meet in Chattanooga? :-)

Do you think they’ll have that cow pasture fixed by Dec 15th?

So honestly, how can a UM fan root against MSU … and vice versa. That could be a seriously good time.
