mtpolitics.net — So Prescient, It’s Creepy

November 15th, 2006 | by Craig |

As I mentioned a while back, I didn’t think that our Senator-elect should be all that enthused about cozying up to Harry Reid.

Raise your hand if you are amazed that Reid didn’t get Tester that plum Appropriations assignment he’d dangled in front of Montana’s voters.

Not only that, but it looks like Reid might be caught up with Abramoff, too.

Let’s just sit back and listen to the spin.

Didn’t you end up predicting a Burns win, too?

*shrug* As close as it was, I don’t feel too bad about it.

    Reid…just as guilty as Burns…

I’m so disappointed that Tester didn’t get that coveted Senate Appropriations appointment. Darn, now the pork won’t be a rollin’ into Montana! Darn, darn, darn, darn!

I can see how disappointed you are, Gman. ;)

You gotta take ‘em out one at a time. Last I checked, Murtha was from Pennsylvania and Reid from Nevada, not Montana.

On the other hand, if you voted for Burns, you approved of DC corruption. Period. So no high horses for you folks, please.

So, we shouldn’t be concerned out here in lil’ ol’ Montana about who the Democratic leadership is? Or do you hold “your guys” to different standards?

Further, speaking of High Horses, that’s a mighty big one you’re riding on. Is it’s name “Assume.” I’m guessing it is, since I don’t recall anyone here saying that they were voting for Burns.

As it sits right now, Burns and Reid are equally guilty, since all anyone has to go on is Jack Abramoff’s word, hmm?

I can do my best to influence who the Democratic leadership is, but I don’t have much power. And if you read my blog, you’ll know I am very often critical of the Democratic leadership.

I also didn’t name names. I don’t know who you voted for, and I could care less. But I don’t want to hear any whining about corruption from Burns-backers.

BTW, there’s a whole lot more evidence on Burns’ indiscretions. There’s a whole sack of sh*t there at his feet, not just the word of Abramoff. I just haven’t seen any of the like for Reid.
