House Goes To Dems

November 7th, 2006 | by Craig |

Looks like the house nominally belongs to the Dems, even though it’s 217-217-1 181-141-1.

The 1 independent is, of course, Bernie Sanders from Vermont who makes Ted Kennedy look positively conservative.

An even split like that, with Nancy Pelosi as Speaker of the House could be a boon to Republicans in ‘08.

I looked at the wrong graphic somewhere down the line.

I still think that a Speaker Pelosi could prove to be beneficial to the GOP.

On the bright side, we’ve got two years to find a good candidate to run for Max’s seat in ‘08.

Two choices - gouge my eyes and ears out with an ice pick or turn off the TV.

The brighter side, maybe the GOP will start acting like Republicans again.
