More Blather on Gather
November 5th, 2006 | by Craig |I’ve finished one more article for Gather.com, and in it, I’ve changed my previous position and am now predicting a victory for Conrad Burns in the Montana Senate race.
I still can’t say that I’m all that enthusiastic about Burns, but I do confess that I will have more than just a little bit of schadenfreude for my sinestra pals when their guy loses, just because they’ve been so loud and strident for the past months.
For a while, I’ve been reminded of a Gandhi quote that is a favorite of the sinestra:
I like your Christ. I do not like your Christians. They are so unlike your Christ.
You have to admit it’s been a bit thick lately, yeah?

Bold prediction Craig. I’m inclined to agree that the undecides will break for Burns but remember, Conrad still has 48 hours to say something really stupid.
If he does pull it out are you considering making this site a “gloat free zone?” If he doesn’t you may have open up the Humble Pie Cafe.

Just a hunch, but I’m betting that the campaign has CB muzzled for the duration.
Which is probably one of the wisest things they can do at this point.

To some degree, Craig, I agree with one of your points: doesn’t matter WHICH candidates I support — it will just be so damn satisfying to see the Lefties wallow in cries of outrage and disbelief if their candidates lose.
