Thank You, KXLH

October 22nd, 2006 | by Craig |

Thank you, KXLH for trading NFL gameday coverage of the defending Super Bowl champions for farqing infomercials. I mean, it’s not like they were playing one of the toughest offenses in the NFC or anything like that.

<sarcasm>Yet, we still get to see the Denver/Cleveland game.</sarcasm>

Well done, my friends. Well done.

[UPDATE]:  I mean, a game that went into OT with a total of almost 80 points wouldn’t have garnered any ratings, right?

Dolts.

Whoops, I capitalized all the letters of one word.
    I think I’m getting Kraljilitis.

Ugh, the choices were brutal yesterday. Denver/Cleveland and Minnesota/Seattle? Yes, yes, Seattle was in the SB, but it was dull, dull, dull… And Denver? Ugh. I know there are Denver fans out there, but is there a less interesting team in the NFL? I’d rather watch Oakland play! At least they’re a circus!

I have to say that it was pretty amusing watching you yell at the Pittsburgh stats page on NFL.com when they game went into overtime.

Of course, I would never do that. ;)

That 30-27 game between my Chargers and the Chiefs was probably a snoozer too. Glad I missed it.

And to Craig’s Spousal Unit- Better get that capital letter-itis checked out. The world (and your home) doesn’t need more Kraljs.

Look at the bright side. In Mesa, we’re forced to watch the Arizona Cardinals every week, now that they’re selling out their new stadium in Upper Slabovia (a/k/a Glendale, AZ — about 35 miles away from my home here in Mesa, and with the traffic here, about a day’s drive). Although, the way the team has played of late (letting the Bears win with two fumble recoveries and a punt return last Monday night; then causing a pathetic Raiders team to morph into the second coming of the Madden-led Silver and Black) those sellouts will soon end, and we’ll be able to see at least two professional games every Sunday.

The alternative is, of course, to pony up some extra bucks for NFL Sunday Ticket. (Now if Altitude would just show the CFL games they’re supposed to…)

Jay, I thought the game turned out quite nice. It’s too bad Hasselbeck was injured but the Minnesota defense played pretty well.

Of course, I may be a bit biased. :-)

You’re right, of course, Randy. I don’t know why, but I always react that way when I see the all-teal uniforms of the Seahawks. I just want to turn the channel. Unfortunately it was Cleveland/Denver on the other station. :(
