Memed Again
December 2nd, 2005 | by Craig |Randy passes out the memes like candy.
But other than that, he’s pretty handy.
(Har.)
Anyway, on with the show:
I confess. . . I live in Montana, but don’t like to hunt and fish all that much.
I confess. . . I like the song Mr. Roboto. (I have some “coming of age” memories associated with that song, so cut me some slack, OK.)
I confess. . . I still have my TRS-80 CoCo, and plan to hook it up one of these days.
I confess. . . I like the cats more than I let on.
I confess. . . I’ve never seen the movie E.T. Seriously.
I confess. . . I’m a sucker for Johnny Horton tunes.
I confess. . . That I sometimes wish that kids came with an owner’s manual. (And wives, too.)
I confess. . . I can’t wait for the rest of the Battlestar Galactica season. Why, oh why, must the SciFi Channel torment us with this wait?
I confess. . . I can’t think of anyone to pass this on to, so if you want to take part, why just take part.

Well, when I first read Randy’s comment I thought he was joking about getting you to post again. I haven’t been here for two weeks with the holiday and all. Are you that bummed about Montana losing?
Hope all is well. I confess…I’d miss your blog if it was gone.

“Mr. Roboto”??? “Coming of age memories”???? As my daughter would say, “That’s just wrong.” Of all the possible Styx selections, “Lady,” “Babe,” “Come Sail Away,” “Best of Times,” . . . Oh well, I suppose we all get blinded by passion at some point.
Oh — Sorry about the Montana loss in the playoffs — that sucks.

It’s a story best told out of earshot of the googlebot.
Thanks for the condolences. Like they say in Bozeman, “There’s always next year.”

Kilroy was here!
Man, that’s like me confessing that I actually own more than one Madonna album. I mean… that is… for example.
Never mind.

You mean there are people who aren’t suckers for Johnny Horton tunes?

I confess… The new Battlestar Galactica is too dark and drips hopelessness. It doesn’t hold a candle to the old one. Couldn’t they make it more real than the old one and keep some of the hopefullness? I think they squandered an opportunity to make a great show- and Starbuck should never have been a girl!

Rocky, overcoming adversity is the whole essence of the new Battlestar. It is my second favorite show (behind StarGate SG1, of course).

Dont knock em JOHHNY HORTON tunes are great have you ever heard THE BATTLE OF NEW ORLEANS? or SINK THE BISMARC?

I can’t seem to get behind the new Battlestar after being a big fan of the 70s version for a long time, but I really like the SG-1 series, especially the first 8 seasons.

It would be great if they did overcome adversity in the new Battlestar, but I haven’t seen that episode I guess. I just can’t get into it. I don’t enjoy the characters like I did in the old one. Stargate SG1 is really good. I never miss it, even if I have to tape it. (I’m too cheap for Tivo)
I do enjoy Horton from time to time. A little of him goes a long way though.
