Update
September 11th, 2005 | by Craig |Thanks to everyone for your prayers and good wishes.
Friday night, around 7:30, Mom called me from the hospital in Ennis. At that point, she thought that Dad had either had a stroke, or fallen and sustained a head injury.
She found him slumped against the wood stove hearth; he was groggy, unresponsive, and paralyzed on his left side.
When she called, the life flight was on its way from Billings to bring him here.
I met them in the ER Friday night, and have mostly been at the hospital since.
Dad has made amazing improvement in the past couple days. The neurologists seem to think that he’ll do pretty well recovering, but there is work ahead of him.
Again, thanks to all of you for your kindness. We appreciate it more than you know.

Hang in there, Craig…my dad had very similar situation about two weeks ago, but is doing much better now…hope your family is pulling together — you’ll get through it.
