Great stuff. Who was that?

Jim–
It was Ray Stevens. He also did “The Streak,” “The Mississippi Squirrel Revival,” “Ahab the Arab,” and a whole slew of other stuff.

I thought it was Ray Stevens, but I didn’t think he was still at it. Hell, he did “Ahab the Arab,” and “Please Mr. Custer” when I was in Junior High School, which was two years after the invention of the printing press.

Jim, Ray Syevens is still around but I think he only appears in Branson, MO and you don’t see him anywhere else.
Sadly, since Johnny Carson retired there are a lot of good entertainers who have faded away.

Erickson is a cosmetologist, not a Barber.

gee whiz there Chris I don’t want to blow a hole in your bubble but NO I am not a cosmetologist…least last time I checked I wasn’t as the South Dakota Barber College is where I graduated from in the late 70’s
But I suppose now that the great state of MT has eliminated the barber college in Missoula I could be considered one just the same….
