What Won’t They Think of Next

November 26th, 2004 | by Craig |

Every time I think I’ve seen it all, along comes something new.

It’s like someone had some very wrong thoughts about those teeth-whitening things.

I’m very disturbed by this. Very disturbed.

On the bright side, it wasn’t dinnertime when I saw the ad for this product.

Gives a WHOLE new meaning to fresh breath doesn’t it? :-)

These things are being recycled - years ago they came up with “feminine hygiene” products that bombed. It’s a play on insecurity that relies on the power of suggestion - women probably didn’t know they smelled bad until they advertised these products. Millions of people put on deodorant every day even though it takes 24 hours for bacteria to form that creates any offensive odor … millions of people use mouthwash every day, though normal breath doesn’t smell bad. The only offensive odor I smell is the heavy breath of advertising, which stops at nothing to manipulate us and change our behavior.

When do we men get a similar product and what will it look like?

    Rocky–
I wondered that myself, and did not like the conclusion I reached.
