Interesting
October 26th, 2004 | by Craig |Unless you live under a rock (and if you do, there’s nothing wrong with that), you undoubtedly heard about Bush’s hometown paper, the Lone Star Iconoclast, endorsed John Kerry in the presidential race.
I’m left to wonder how much airplay this story will get. Seems that Kerry’s hometown paper, the Lowell Sun has endorsed George Bush.
It’s certainly not scientific, but if you do searches on Lowell Sun and Crawford Iconoclast, the first search item returns one article about the Sun’s endorsement of Bush, while the second search returns at least 4 pages of results, all of which mention that the Iconoclast endorsed Kerry.

Do newspaper endorsements really mean anything, anymore?

Newspaper endorsements mean NOTHING to me, but you could have knocked me over with a feather when the Gazette endorsed Brown for Governor last Sunday. I was sure they’d go with Schweitzer. They endorsed Kerry in the same issue though, so I’m not all that suprised.

The only problem with this argument is that both papers in question have a history of endorsing Republican canidates.

I dont even care for any of those endorsed by the liberal left-wing nnews media since they always prefer the liberals i mean if they were around back during the revolutionary war they would have been eurging the colonists to stay with king george the III they then would have ended up branded tories and would have gotten tarred and feathered and frankly some of them would deserve to be given that punishment starting with micheal moore and frank rich
